Book / Enquire Tour »We Pick you up at 11am and take you on a beautiful scenic drive to the quaint village of Havelock. On the way we pass the site of The Hobbit movie "The Desolation of Smaug" scene where the dwarves escape down the river in barrels! A quick stop for a pic or two and on our way to Havelock.

At Havelock marina, you join the Mussel Cruise boat for a breath-taking and educational cruise in the magical Marlborough sounds. You will learn about the mussel industry and taste delicious fresh steamed mussels straight out of the water. These will be accompanied by a glass of our world famous Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

You will be astounded by the scenic beauty on this tour!

At the completion of your tour, we will take you back to Nelson and deliver you to your accommodation at approximately 6.30pm.

Complete Tour is approximately 7 hours long (Mussel Tour 3 hours) Pick up at your accommodation 11am and drop off 6.30 pm
The Greenshell Mussel cruise operates October to April only.

Cancellation Policy: Up to 5 days before = Re-ticketing at no extra cost OR refund less 20% transaction fee. If cancelled within 5 days of tour there is nil refund.
